Earthlings from Southern California to Phoenix enjoyed a spectacular, if brief, display as night fell and light illuminated the sky, followed by a slowly dissipating jet.
But the images quickly flooded social media, and “SpaceX” became a trending topic on the social networking site
The launch was the 10th from the base this year, according to Space
On Friday, coverage of a New York Mets spring training game was disrupted “momentarily,” according to USA Today, when sportscasters were distracted by a SpaceX rocket that boomed over Florida Stadium.
