A man was killed and a woman and four children were injured Sunday afternoon in a rollover crash on Interstate 10, fire officials said.
Authorities said the accident occurred between two cars near the Hoover Street ramp on Route 10 West in the University Park area.
A man was found dead at the scene, and a 29-year-old woman and four boys were taken to a trauma center for treatment, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
One boy, 3 months old; The others are 6, 7 and 10 years old. Officials said they were in serious or critical condition.
The accident, which occurred around 3 p.m., closed all westbound lanes of 10th Street for several hours. The California Highway Patrol reopened the highway around 6:30 p.m
