Krispy Kreme — Shares rose nearly 14% during premarket trading after the company said it will sell its donuts in McDonald's restaurants nationwide by the end of 2026, with the rollout starting in the second half of this year. Krispy Kreme began testing sales at some McDonald's locations in 2022, and expanding its partnership would double the donut maker's current distribution. McDonald's shares fell more than 1%. Seagate Technology – The data storage stock added 4.1% on the back of Morgan Stanley's upgrade to overweight from equal weight. Morgan Stanley said the company has improved earnings power due to generative artificial intelligence and other factors. McCormick — Shares rose nearly 4% after the spice maker reported an increase in earnings and revenue. Adjusted earnings per share were 63 cents for the fiscal first quarter, beating the 58 cents expected from analysts surveyed by FactSet. Revenue was $1.6 billion versus $1.55 billion expected. United Parcel Service – Shares of the delivery company rose 3% after the company issued a long-term forecast. The company said it expects between $108 billion and $114 billion in combined revenue in 2026. For 2023, UPS reported that combined revenue fell to $91 billion. Super Micro Computer – Shares rose 3.1%, extending gains since Monday when JPMorgan initiated coverage on the stock with an overweight rating. The company called Super Micro Computer, which makes server and storage solutions, a leader in the “still in its infancy” AI computing market. Micron Technology – The chip maker saw shares rise 1.5% after Mizuho Securities reiterated a buy rating and increased its price target on the stock, saying a strong AI opportunity could lead to better-than-expected sales in late 2024 through 2025. – Shares got 1% increase after JPMorgan reiterated its overweight rating on semiconductor stocks.
